Senior / Principal Associate – Defendant Clinical Negligence

I’m currently working on an opportunity with a highly regarded healthcare litigation team in London that is continuing to grow its defendant clinical negligence offering.
This team acts on behalf of NHS bodies and primary care providers, handling a broad mix of complex and high-value claims. It’s a well-established practice with a strong reputation in the market and long-standing panel relationships, offering lawyers the chance to work on some of the most challenging and sensitive cases in this space.
The Opportunity*Manage a caseload of complex, high-value clinical negligence claims
*Work closely with experienced partners on more technical and severe injury matters
*Gain direct client exposure, including interaction with healthcare organisations
*Play a role in developing client relationships and contributing to growth
You’ll also have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across wider healthcare disciplines, including:
*Inquests and investigations
*Regulatory and disciplinary matters
*Public law and judicial review
*Mental health and risk advisory work

About You*Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with strong defendant clinical negligence experience
*Ideally experience gained within a panel firm environment, though this isn’t essential
*Confident handling complex, high-value matters, including severe injury claims
