Management Accountant - High-Growth PE-Backed Wellness Business
The Company
A private equity-backed leisure and sport business is experiencing rapid expansion across multiple locations. With a strong focus on performance and growth, the finance team plays a central role in driving decision-making.
The Role
An exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Management Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA, 0-2 years PQE) to join a growing finance function. You will lead the month-end process and deliver accurate, timely reporting within an SME environment. Ideal candidates will come from a small practice with accounts preparation exposure or be trained in industry.
Responsibilities
*End-to-end month-end accounts preparation, including journals, accruals and prepayments
*Production of monthly management accounts
*Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
*VAT return preparation and audit support
*Oversight of payables and weekly payment cycles
*KPI reporting and ad hoc finance projects
*Identifying and implementing process improvements
Candidate Profile
*Fully qualified Chartered Accountant
*Experience delivering full month-end accounts in an SME environment
*Practice-trained or industry background with strong accounts prep skills
*Advanced Excel and strong systems awareness
*Commercial mindset with clear communication skills

*£50,000-£60,000k plus bonus and benefits
*Hybrid working model in Central London (4 days office, 1 day WFH)
