Temporary Credit Control Assistant

We’re working with a busy manufacturing business in Carlisle that needs an extra pair of hands in finance. They’re looking for a Temporary Credit Control Assistant to step in, keep things ticking, and make an immediate impact.
The Role
You’ll support the finance team with day-to-day credit control, helping to keep accounts accurate and payments on track.
What you’ll be doing:
*Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
*Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries
*Maintaining accurate customer records
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
What they’re looking for
*Must have previous experience in a credit control role
*Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
*Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
*Comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced environment
*Available immediately or at short notice
