I’m currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a friendly, collaborative finance team, working closely with Client Account Managers within a pod-based structure. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fully digital, cloud-based environment and supporting multiple client accounts.
The Role*Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
*Process purchase and sales invoices end-to-end
*Complete bank and control account reconciliations
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with MTD requirements
*Assist with payroll processing where required
*Support management accounts preparation, including accruals and prepayments
*Ensure all work is completed accurately and to agreed deadlines
*Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries efficiently
Systems & Working Environment*Xero (daily use)
*Dext
*Fully cloud-based, paperless setup
What I’m Looking For*2-4 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role (practice experience preferred)
*Strong, practical knowledge of Xero
*Good understanding of VAT and core accounting principles
*Experience using Dext or similar document capture tools
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Comfortable working in a digital, paperless environment
*Confident written and verbal communication skills
