Job Description:
If you’re looking to break into finance, this is your foot in the door.
This is a Bradford-based business with a busy finance team and a lot going on behind the scenes. They need someone who wants to learn the ropes properly, not just "get a job", but build a career.
This is an apprenticeship, so yes, you’ll be studying AAT with full support. But you’ll also be doing the real work from day one.
The day to day:
*Purchase ledger (processing invoices, keeping things moving)
*Sales ledger (raising invoices, keeping customers in check)
*Credit control (the slightly awkward conversations)
*Bank and balance sheet reconciliations (making the numbers behave)
*General finance admin (the glue that holds it all together)
It’s varied, it’s busy, and it’s not a "sit quietly and watch" kind of role.
They’re looking for someone who:
*Wants a proper long-term career in finance (not just a stopgap)
*Is happy to study AAT and actually put the effort in
*Likes detail, structure, and getting things right
*Can communicate without hiding behind emails
*Doesn’t panic when things get busy (because they will)
In return, you get:
*An annual salary of up to £26k (depending on experience)
*Full AAT study support and funding
*Proper hands-on training across all areas of transactional finance
*A team that actually wants to help you progress
*A clear route into more senior finance roles over time
If you’re looking for fancy job titles and easy wins, this probably isn’t it. But, if you want to build a career in finance from the ground up, it is.
