Due to ongoing development and growth, we have an exciting new role for a graduate TraineeAccountant to join our modern, centrally located Bournemouth office, close to rail and bus links.
With training, you will be assisting with preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients (individuals, sole traders, partnerships and trusts), and ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of bookkeeping services.
A fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to develop your career in accountancy and tax, you will be working towards an internationally recognised accounting qualification (ACA) whilst gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a highly respected accountancy firm.
You will join a dynamic accounts team with a high quality client base and rapidly gain responsibility whilst at the same time completing your qualifications with us.
Key responsibilities of a Trainee Accountant will include:
*Assisting with preparation of financial statements from client records
*Processing basic bookkeeping tasks under supervision
*Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues regarding deadlines
*Developing technical and professional skills through study and on-the-job training


About you:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
*Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 including English and Maths and excellent academic record including A Levels
*Degree – 2:1 or 2:2
*Motivated, keen to learn and develop a career in accounting
*Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
*Good orgnisation and time management
*Clear communication skills
*Strong attention to detail
*Organised with the ability to manage deadlines
*Professional and reliable approach
