Finance Assistant / Junior Management Accountant
Overview
Are you an experienced Finance Assistant or Junior Management Accountant looking for your next adventure?

This is a very busy and exciting time for a fast-growing hospitality and property Group, operating a collection of hotels and pubs across East Anglia, Hertfordshire and Surrey. The Group has recently completed several refurbishments and relaunches across its portfolio and continues to expand.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team in an experienced Finance Assistant / Junior Management Accountant capacity, focused on Group (parent company) finances.
This is a varied, full-time, on-site role, working closely with the Management Accountant from the Group’s Head Office near Colchester.
The Role
This Finance role encompasses multiple accounting responsibilities, including:
*Raising invoices for residential and commercial tenants
*Allocating rental payments
*Recharging and accounting for split property charges
*Supporting preparation of property accounts
*Reconciliation of debtors
*Preparing rental schedules
*Assisting in preparation of cash flow forecasts
*Intercompany reconciliations
*Bank reconciliations
About You
To be successful in this Finance Assistant / Junior Management Accountant role, you should ideally have:
*AAT Level 3 minimum, or equivalent experience
*Finance or accounting experience within the finance team of a commercial organisation
*A calm, methodical working manner
*Strong numerical dexterity, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels
*Experience within a multi-site, multi-property or charitable organisation is advantageous
