Location: Flexible / Remote–Hybrid

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour

About the Role
We’re currently recruiting a Senior HR Assistant to join a busy and supportive HR Resourcing & Transactions team on a 6-month temporary assignment, providing cover for an existing member of staff.
This role plays a key part in the onboarding and employee lifecycle process, supporting high-volume HR activity within a regulated environment. You’ll be confident managing competing priorities, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing end-to-end onboarding processes, including:
*Reference checks
*Enhanced DBS checks
*Right to Work documentation
*Contract issuing
*Providing high-quality HR administrative support across the wider HR team
*Working with a range of HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records
*Analysing and interpreting HR data, producing clear summaries and recommendations
*Responding professionally and sensitively to confidential HR queries
*Supporting the team with ad-hoc workload during peak periods
*Acting as a positive ambassador for HR and living organisational values and behaviours
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Experience & Skills
*Proven experience in HR onboarding and compliance processes
*Strong general HR or office administration experience (ideally within an HR team)
*Ability to manage a complex workload and prioritise effectively
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
*Confidence working autonomously with minimal supervision
*Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
*Experience using multiple HR platforms
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*A calm, professional manner and strong customer service focus
*Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Desirable
*HR administration or recruitment experience within a busy, regulated environment
