We are seeking dedicated Supply Cover Supervisors to join our team, working with secondary schools across Norwich. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and have a keen interest in contributing to the development of students in a secondary school setting.
Day-to-Day of the Role:*Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
*Maintain classroom discipline, adhering to the school’s policies and procedures.
*Assist students with their work as required, providing guidance and support to facilitate learning and participation.
*Manage any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school’s policies.
*Ensure a constructive and safe learning environment.
*Provide feedback on student behavior and any issues encountered during the day to the regular teaching staff and school administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Experience in an educational setting
*Strong classroom management skills
*Good communication skills and the ability to engage with students aged 11-16.
*Flexibility to work with different classes and subject areas.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
