The Company
A long-established, privately owned business based near Headcorn, operating across a specialist sector with a strong operational focus and a hands-on leadership team. The organisation is currently navigating a busy period and requires experienced interim HR support to ensure continuity and stability across the workforce.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR professional to step into a key leadership role on an interim basis. You’ll take ownership of the HR function, providing both strategic oversight and day-to-day operational support to ensure the smooth running of all HR activity across the business.

This is a temporary assignment for an initial period of one month, with the potential to extend. The role is fully onsite, based near Headcorn.

Key Responsibilities
*Leading the HR function and acting as the senior HR contact within the business
*Supporting managers with employee relations matters and HR guidance
*Overseeing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring consistent delivery
*Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal HR policies
*Managing and supporting HR administration and processes
*Assisting with ongoing HR projects and operational priorities
*Providing pragmatic, hands-on HR support during a period of change
*Acting quickly to stabilise and support the wider workforce
Desirable Skills & Experience
*Proven experience in a senior HR or HR leadership role
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ER casework
*Ability to step into a business quickly and operate at pace
*Confident, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Experience supporting SMEs or fast-moving environments
*Immediately available or on very short notice
Salary & Benefits
*Circa £80,000 (pro rata)
*Temporary role (initial 1 month, potential to extend)
