The Company
A well-established and growing business based in Folkestone, with a strong local presence and a reputation for stability and quality. The company offers a supportive, close-knit working environment and is now looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a hands-on Finance Manager.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to take ownership of the transactional finance function while also supervising a small team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of finance operations, while supporting the wider business with accurate and timely financial information.

This is a full-time, permanent onsite position based in Folkestone.

Key Responsibilities
*Overseeing the day-to-day transactional finance function
*Managing and supporting a small team (AP/AR/Admin)
*Reviewing and assisting with purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations
*Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
*Supervising payroll processes (or liaising with external providers)
*Managing cash flow and monitoring company expenditure
*Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
*Maintaining and improving finance processes and controls
*Supporting with audits and liaising with external accountants
*Acting as a key point of contact for internal finance queries
Desirable Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role
*Strong understanding of transactional finance processes
*Experience supervising or mentoring finance staff
*Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
