OverviewMotor Vehicle Tutor - Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Motor Vehicle Tutor to work at an Alternative Provision in Derby City, starting ASAP and lasting indefinitely. Ideally this will be a temporary-to-permanent position, with the successful candidate on supply for 12 weeks before transferring onto a permanent contract. Pay is between £20 to £30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities*Teach Motor Vehicle techniques in the workshop to BTEC Level 2 and 3 students.
*Work with students to develop practical and theoretical motor vehicle skills.
*Be prepared to support assessment activities while at the Provision
*Participate in development opportunities and CPD initiatives offered by Tradewind and The National College.
Qualifications and Experience*Has a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles.
*Has experience teaching Motor Vehicles (ideal but not necessary).
*Has a Level 3 or above teaching qualification or a willingness to learn.
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*CV must cover the full CV history.
