Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Near Maidstone (must be able to drive)
Salary: £25,000 (full-time) with part-time potential (pro rata)

About the Company
We are a well-established, family-run business based near Maidstone, known for our supportive team environment and strong values. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team and hit the ground running.

The Role
This is a hands-on finance role focused on detailed transactional work. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy across invoices, supplier quotes, and remittances, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities
*Cross-checking invoices against supplier quotes and remittances
*Investigating and resolving discrepancies
*Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Communicating with suppliers and internal teams where required
Requirements
*Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Finance Assistant (or similar)
*High attention to detail and strong accuracy skills
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Proactive with a methodical approach to work
*Must be able to drive due to location
