Job Description:
Contract: 3–6 months | Start: June
Rate: £350/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote with ad-hoc travel to Newcastle
We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer / SDET to join a delivery team focused on improving the quality, reliability, and confidence of automated testing.
The Role You’ll play a key role in strengthening testing practices by:
*Identifying and raising risks highlighted by automation test results
*Implementing existing and introducing new test frameworks
*Improving overall confidence in testing across the team
*Mentoring and advising team members on best-practice testing approaches
Skills & Experience*Strong experience in test automation
*Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL
*Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
*Confident working across teams and influencing testing standards
