The Role
You will be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This includes both classroom-based support and assisting with daily care routines.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing tailored support to children with complex learning needs
*Assisting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
*Supporting sensory activities and interventions
*Safely carrying out moving and handling procedures
*Administering medication where required (following training and guidelines)
*Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Essential Requirements
*Hoist training (or willingness to obtain)
*Confidence in providing personal care
*Experience or understanding of SEND environments
*Skills in moving and handling, sensory support, and medication administration
*A calm, patient, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
