Job Description:
Production Planner / Scheduler
A well-established & growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Operations team based in St Leonards on Sea.
The Role
You’ll manage production schedules across machining & assembly operations, ensuring materials, capacity, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand.
*Create & maintain production schedules across multiple machines/work centres
*Allocate work based on capacity, machine availability, and deadlines
*Manage MRP and monitor open order books
*Raise and track purchase orders for materials and subcontract processes
*Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability
*Communicate schedule changes and escalate delivery risks
The Person
*Experience in production planning/scheduling within manufacturing
*Strong understanding of MRP and production workflows
*Confident using ERP systems & Excel
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proactive & a strong communicator
The Package
*Full time, permanent opportunity
*Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday!
*£30,000 - £35,000pa DOE
