Job Description:
Client Account Manager | Coventry | £30-35k | Hybrid
Join a well-established, forward thinking accountancy practice operating in a fully cloud based environment. With a diverse client base across SMEs and international businesses, the firm focuses on quality, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.
This opportunity is ideal for an established Accountant looking to step into a more client-facing role with increased responsibility and clear progression.
The Role*Support the management of a portfolio of clients including limited companies and sole traders
*Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, building strong working relationships
*Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns
*Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
*Review bookkeeping work and ensure accuracy
*Work closely within a pod structure alongside senior management
*Help coordinate workflow and meet client deadlines
*Provide guidance and support to junior team members
*Gain exposure to advisory and tax planning work
Systems*Xero (essential, regular use)
*Dext
*TaxCalc
*Cloud-based accounts preparation tools
About You*3-5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
*ACCA / ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
*Strong working knowledge of cloud-based accounting tools
*Confident communicator with good written and verbal English
*Organised, proactive, and keen to take ownership of your work
*Looking to progress into a Client Manager role
