Kens Auto Spares is looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our well-established, family-run business in Bulwell.
With over 50 years in the trade, we offer a stable, friendly working environment where staff tend to stay long-term. This is not a large dealership workshop — we are a close-knit independent garage that values honesty, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships.

Duties and responsibilities
Carry out vehicle servicing and general repairs
Diagnose and repair faults on cars and light commercial vehicles
Work on:
*Brakes and suspension systems
*Engine repairs and maintenance
*Timing belts, chains, and clutches
Perform diagnostic checks and fault finding
Assist with additional installations such as towbars (training provided if needed)
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
*Work collaboratively with the team while also taking responsibility for your own jobs
Experience and qualifications
Proven experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs
Confident in diagnostics and basic understanding of engine management systems
Experience with timing belts, chains, and clutches is essential
Knowledge of vehicle electrics is preferred
Formal qualifications are beneficial but not essential — experience is more important
*Own tools preferred (but not essential)
