We are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join a busy workshop environment. This is a hands-on role working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality bespoke joinery items, ensuring all work meets required specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manufacture bespoke joinery items from technical drawings
*Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
*Assemble, finish and quality check products
*Work with a range of materials including solid wood, MDF and laminates
*Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment
*Work collaboratively with the wider production team
Requirements:
*Proven minimum 5years experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Skilled in the use of woodworking machinery and tools
*Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
*Good understanding of health & safety practices
*Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
*Experience in bespoke or high-end joinery
*NVQ/Apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery
