IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Skilled Technician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Mid-Cornwall. This is a long-term opportunity within a respected production environment, offering strong potential for permanent employment and career progression.
Key Responsibilities*Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
*Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
*Support production and engineering teams with technical issues.
*Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
*Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality standards at all times.
Requirements*Experience in maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to work independently and within a team.
*Experience supporting or training production/engineering teams.
*PLC or vision systems experience is advantageous (not essential).
Desirable Experience*High-volume manufacturing environments.
*Knowledge of OEE, TPM, and SPC.
*Maintenance or technical support background.
