Are you an experienced paraplanning leader ready to shape and elevate a national advice support function?
Our client is seeking a Regional Paraplanning Manager to take strategic ownership of their firm-wide paraplanning model, ensuring technical excellence, operational consistency, and scalable growth across multiple regional teams.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence — ideal for someone who thrives on driving standards, developing people, and embedding best practice across a complex advice environment.


The Opportunity
As a Regional Paraplanning Manager, you will lead the strategic direction, governance, and performance of the paraplanning function. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Advice Operations, Compliance, Data, and regional Pod Leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and efficient advice support.
You’ll be the senior escalation point for technical queries, complex cases, and risk matters, while also championing continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
*Own and evolve the firm-wide paraplanning operating model
*Provide senior leadership to regional Pod Leaders
*Act as the escalation point for paraplanning-related issues
*Lead teams both remotely and in person
Performance & Operational Oversight
*Develop and manage KPIs and MI using CRM systems
*Monitor capacity, efficiency, turnaround times, and risk indicators
*Deliver insightful reporting to senior management
Technical & Regulatory Governance
*Provide senior-level technical oversight across all advice areas
*Oversee complex and high-risk case management
*Ensure processes, templates, and guidance remain compliant and up to date
*Maintain strong regulatory awareness and risk management standards
People Leadership & Development
*Lead, coach, and appraise senior paraplanners and Pod Leaders
*Oversee onboarding, training, and technical development
*Support succession planning and capability growth
*Provide ongoing mentoring and skills development
Change & Continuous Improvement
*Lead change initiatives within the paraplanning function
*Support implementation of regulatory, legislative, and operational changes
*Drive consistency, scalability, and best practice across regional teams
Risk & Escalation Management
*Handle senior escalations, quality concerns, and potential complaints
*Manage risk appropriately and escalate where necessary


About You
*Extensive paraplanning experience with deep technical knowledge
*Minimum 10 years’ experience managing teams
*Strong senior leadership and stakeholder management capability
*Data-driven approach to performance and operational management
*Experience handling complex and high-risk advice scenarios
*Strong coaching, mentoring, and people-development skills
*Must be willing to travel across all offices


Qualifications
*Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (RO1–RO6) required
*Chartered status highly desirable
