We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at a specialist school setting in Rotherham.

This is a supportive and inclusive school that works with children and young people who require additional support to access education. The school caters for a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, learning difficulties, and associated behavioural or communication challenges.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
*Assist pupils with learning, emotional regulation, and social development
*Support class teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
*Help implement personalised education and behaviour support plans
*Promote a positive, calm, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate

*Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs, either within an education setting or in a support worker / care role
*Are patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting SEN learners
*Can work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from school staff
