Location: Wolverhampton | Contract: Permanent | Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
We’re recruiting an experienced HR Advisor on behalf of a client based in Wolverhampton. This is a great opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys advising managers and handling a broad range of employee relations matters.
Reporting into an HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted first point of contact for managers, providing pragmatic and legally sound advice to support consistent and fair people management.
Key responsibilities include:
*Advising managers on employee relations issues including sickness absence, disciplinaries, grievances, performance and capability
*Supporting investigations, hearings and formal meetings (including note-taking)
*Drafting HR correspondence and case documentation
*Managing absence processes and occupational health referrals
*Working constructively with trade union representatives
*Delivering guidance, coaching and training to managers
*Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement activity
About you:
*CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), or equivalent HR Advisory experience
*Strong ER background with good working knowledge of employment law
*Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
*Highly organised, professional and able to manage a varied workload
*Experience of unionised environments is desirable
This role would suit someone who is proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable balancing operational HR with commercial realities.
