Management Accountant | £40,000 - £50,000 | Wilmslow
An opportunity to join a fast growing, dynamic business operating in a specialist market. Working closely with the Finance Manager and further support from an experienced Finance Director, this Management Accountant role is ideally suited to a Newly Qualified or Finalist level Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) who is wanting to gain more comprehensive exposure and ownership at month end whilst also having a solid progression plan in place.
Main duties consist of;
*Prepare and deliver regular financial reporting
*Maintain and review balance sheet reconciliations
*Support budgeting and business planning processes
*Produce and analyse key performance metrics
*Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and on time in line with internal standards
*Support cashflow and treasury-related activities
*Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and guidance
*Contribute to finance-related projects and cross-functional initiatives
*Prepare reports and presentations for senior audiences
*Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
*Support the development of junior team members
*Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
*Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate profile;
*CIMA/ACCA Finalist or Qualified
*Prior Management Accounts experience
*Excellent communication skills
*Strategic thinker and ability to work across functions
*High level of attention to detail
