eaching Assistants – Secondary Schools (Stockport)We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of secondary schools across Stockport and the surrounding areas.
These roles involve supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with SEN needs. You will play a key role in helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role:*Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
*Assisting pupils with additional needs, including SEN
*Promoting positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
*Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress
*Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
What We’re Looking For:*Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
*Strong behaviour management skills
*A proactive, patient, and supportive approach
*Flexibility to travel across Stockport and surrounding areas
*A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
