Commercial Sales Manager
6 month role with possibilty to be extended
I am currently partner with one of the world’s leading exhibition and events company delivering market-leading trade shows that connect industries, spark innovation, and drive business growth. Their portfolio spans multiple sectors, and they are always expanding. To support this momentum, they’re looking for a dynamic Commercial Sales Manager who can elevate their commercial performance and build long-term value across their events.
The Opportunity
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of revenue generation across exhibition stands, sponsorship packages, and digital products. You’ll shape commercial strategy, lead client acquisition, and build strong relationships with key industry players. This is a role for someone who loves the thrill of closing deals, understands the exhibition landscape, and knows how to turn opportunities into results.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Driving revenue growth across exhibition space, sponsorships, and value-added products
*Building and managing a high-quality sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
*Identifying new business opportunities and emerging market segments
*Leading outreach to prospective exhibitors, sponsors, and partners
*Managing and growing key accounts to maximise retention and year-on-year spend
*Delivering compelling sales presentations and negotiating commercial agreements
*Collaborating with marketing, operations, and product teams to enhance event propositions
*Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, or media
*Strong commercial acumen with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets
*Confident communicator able to engage senior-level decision-makers
*Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and develop new revenue streams
*Highly organised, proactive, and motivated by results
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
