A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Locum Social Worker to join a Kinship Team in the Bolton area. Working within the Fostering Service, you’ll be completing kinship assessments and providing targeted support to carers and children.

Key responsibilities*Complete assessments of kinship carers, children, and their home environment
*Undertake court-directed assessments
*Manage a caseload and implement effective case plans for kinship families
*Provide practical and emotional support to kinship carers and children
*Advocate for the needs and rights of children and kinship families
*Link families to education, health, legal, and financial support services
Requirements*1-3 years’ experience within a similar statutory social work setting
*Proven experience completing kinship assessments and developing case plans
*Diploma/Degree in Social Work
*SWE registration
