Job Description:
SEND Tutor - Outreach Tuition (Stockport)
We are recruiting an experienced SEND Tutor to provide outreach tuition on a 1:1 or small group basis for pupils with additional needs.
Location: Stockport
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)
Essential Requirements:
*Proven experience tutoring SEND learners
*Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
*Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and personalised learning
*Ability to plan and deliver structured, targeted sessions
*Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
Desirable:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Role Overview:
*Deliver tailored outreach tuition aligned with individual needs and EHCP outcomes
*Monitor progress and provide clear feedback when required
*Maintain safeguarding and professional standards at all times
