Job Description:
Reed Accountancy is proud to be working with a York-based business that is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based role within a busy environment, where you will provide financial support, administrative support, assist with budget monitoring, and use strong organisational skills.
Main Responsibilities:
*Purchase ledger processing; invoice processing, account allocation and nominal coding
*Assist in preparation of reports required
*Raise purchase orders
*Assist with the input income and expenditure information
*Assist staff with administration queries
*Provision of administrative and secretarial duties as required
*Assist senior staff with budget preparation and revision
*Undertake some administration of accounts, including handling cash, collecting monies and payments of bills and invoices
*Participate in the performance management scheme
*Assist in monitoring the budget regularly and liaise with the senior finance team.
*Monitor stock levels, order office materials, equipment services and check incoming orders including processing of payments
You will need to demonstrate:
*Previous experience within a finance role
*Experience working within office environments
*Level 2 AAT minimum (desirable)
*Organisational skills and commitment to continue professional development
*Attention to detail and accuracy
