HIU Engineer | £42,500 + Overtime | No Call-Out
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established private housing provider for an experienced HIU Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, full-time PAYE position within a professional and supportive environment, working across a high-quality residential portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and associated plumbing systems across residential properties.
Key duties include:
*Carrying out annual servicing programmes (PPM, reactive and planned works)
*Maintenance and fault-finding on HIUs
*Completing remedial repairs as required
*Diagnosing issues including temperature sensors and system faults
*Performing general plumbing tasks (radiators, cylinders, system maintenance)
*Installing and commissioning heat meters
*Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with deadlines
Candidate Requirements
*Demonstrable HIU maintenance experience(essential)
*Recognised plumbing qualifications and practical experience
*Basic electrical knowledge advantageous
*Strong communication and customer-facing skills
*Reliable, organised, and able to manage a varied workload
*Positive, proactive approach to completing work efficiently
Package & Benefits
*£42,500 basic salary
*Overtime paid at time and a half, Sundays at double pay
*No call-out rota
