About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and supporting their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities*Support learning in the classroom across the primary curriculum
*Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small intervention groups
*Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials
*Supervise pupils during break times and school activities when required
Requirements*Teaching Assistant qualifications are preferred (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 TA)
*Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
*A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
