Cedar is working with a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed property business, delivering strong growth through a combination of strategic investment and operational excellence. This global group is looking to hire a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where your work directly shapes strategic decisions in a growing, dynamic organisation.


You will be responsible for month-end delivery and ownership of the Board reporting pack, supporting the senior leadership and managing a team.


Other responsibilities will include.


*Own revenue and operating cost reporting for your UK portfolio
*Partner with Building Managers and Department Heads to provide insight and challenge
*Translate operational activity into clear financial impact
*Lead the month-end close process (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations)
*Deliver meaningful variance analysis against budget and prior periods
*Produce consolidated management accounts and Board reporting packs
*Ensure accurate allocation of corporate overheads
*Review and sign off outputs across the wider team
*Line manage and develop a small team
*Review AR/AP outputs and ensure timely ledger close
*Drive process improvements and enhance reporting (SAP & Excel)
*Act as a key contact for audits and senior stakeholder queries
*Support senior finance leadership with ad-hoc analysis


Candidate profile and traits
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 4+ years PQE
*Strong technical accounting background
*Ability to turn complex data into clear, commercial insight
*High-visibility role with Investor-level exposure
*Genuine ownership of reporting and outcomes
