We are looking for a Client Handler to join a growing SME Commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries, with clear progression into Corporate Client work


Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of clients, handling approximately 30–40 renewals per month
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
*Work across a broad range of commercial risks including Property, Fleet, Management Liability, Marine, Cyber, Commercial Combined, Engineering, Liability, and Professional Indemnity
*Handle premiums ranging from £300 to £10,000 (average £1,200–£1,500)
*Generate new business opportunities to grow your own portfolio
*Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within your client base
*Place business through a combination of e-trade platforms and manual broking presentations
*Support and attend meetings with larger clients where appropriate
*Manage inbound enquiries and leads (no cold calling required)

Required Experience
*3–5 years’ experience within commercial insurance
*Exposure to, or a strong interest in, a broad range of commercial risks
*Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload
*Ambitious, with a desire to develop within a growing team and progress towards corporate
