Salary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

Job Description: Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in an ’Outstanding’ specialist setting? Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at an SEN SpecialistHigh School in Blackley.
This role involves providing critical 1:1 support for a student with complex needs, ensuring they can access their learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 academic and emotional support to a student with complex SEN.
*Implement de-escalation strategies and promote positive behaviour.
*Assist with personal care and sensory integration activities.
*Collaborate with the class teacher and multidisciplinary team to follow EHCP goals.
Requirements:
*Must have an Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (on the Update Service).
*Previous experience supporting students with PMLD, ASC, or severe learning difficulties.
*Available for the full duration of the assignment (Full-time, Mon-Fri).
*Strong communication skills and a "care-first" approach.
*Mininum 6 months UK schools experience.
