SEN Teaching Assistant - Folkestone
Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a specialist SEN school in Folkestone, working with pupils who have Autism (ASC) and complex SEN needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and genuinely committed to supporting children with additional needs to thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASC and complex needs
*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored, engaging lessons
*Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
*Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
*Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
What We’re Looking For:*Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education, care, or similar settings)
*A calm, resilient, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
*Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
