Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a caring and motivated Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery team in St Albans. This temp-to-perm opportunity will allow you to support the daily care and development of young children in a nurturing environment.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with qualified staff to assist in delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities, ensuring children’s safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:*Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
*Support the implementation of learning programs under the guidance of qualified practitioners.
*Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
*Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
*Assist with daily routines including meal times, rest, and play.
Requirements
Requirements:*Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
*Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting preferred.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
*Passion for supporting the development and well-being of young children.
*Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
