L&D Business Partner
  • England,West Midlands,Birmingham

Job Description:
The L&D Business Partner will play a crucial role in designing and implementing learning and development strategies within the Human Resources department. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational growth in the business services industry.
Client Details
Our client is a large, well-established UK organisation headquartered in Birmingham, and a growing national footprint. Operating in a fast-moving SaaS environment, the organisation delivers technology-enabled solutions to a broad customer base and is focused on continued growth, scalability and operational maturity.

The business is navigating a phase of transformation, pace and performance focus, with strong expectations around delivery, capability uplift and return on investment. As a result, Learning & Development sits firmly within the execution agenda, prioritised for impact rather than long-term conceptual design.

Description
This assignment has been created to bring in senior, credible L&D capability at speed, supporting live priorities across multiple workstreams. The organisation values pragmatic, delivery-led professionals who can operate autonomously, cut through complexity and apply experience directly within a commercial, product-led, PE-backed setting.

*Deliver across multiple parallel L&D workstreams, taking end-to-end ownership from initiation to completion
*Operate as a hands-on L&D generalist, applying experience across a broad range of development, capability and learning initiatives
*Rapidly identify blockers, clarify priorities and implement practical solutions
*Execute at pace, focusing on tangible outcomes rather than strategy decks or advisory outputs
*Provide immediate, credible L&D support to the business during a high-demand period
Profile
This role is designed for a senior L&D leader, someone who has operated at a very senior level previously and is now comfortable stepping into an execution-focused assignment, applying their experience pragmatically to unblock issues and deliver results at pace.

The successful candidate will take direct ownership of delivery, operating autonomously, cutting through complexity, and applying their expertise exactly where it is needed most.

You will bring:

*Experience across the full breadth of the L&D landscape
*A background in senior L&D roles, with the mindset to step into a delivery-heavy position
*A hands-on, pragmatic approach, comfortable working in detail and leading work directly
*The ability to hit the ground running, operate autonomously, and deliver without significant direction
*Credibility, confidence and presence to unlock challenges and uplift capability fast
Job Offer
*Competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience.
*Opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative Human Resources team.
*Temporary role offering flexibility and valuable industry experience.
*Chance to influence the learning and development strategy of a medium-sized organisation in the business services sector.
If you are a skilled L&D Business Partner looking for a temporary role in the business services industry, we encourage you to apply today.
