The Sovereign Debt Product Manager Role
They are seeking a Sovereign Debt Product Manager to lead and enhance their global sovereign debt coverage. This is a fully remote role, working closely with a US-based leadership team and managing an internationally distributed team.
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of global sovereign debt issuance, ensuring the product continues to meet evolving client and market needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the research and development of global sovereign debt issuance coverage (bonds, treasury bills, and related instruments)
*Oversee and coordinate daily updates to the sovereign debt database
*Manage and support a team of 4 analysts, each with regional responsibilities
*Plan and assign weekly and monthly coverage schedules across countries and events
*Ensure accurate and forward-looking population of issuance calendars (annual and ongoing updates)
*Engage with clients to address queries, fulfil requests, and resolve issues
*Participate in client and prospect calls, and attend industry conferences as required
*Collaborate with senior management to enhance product positioning, identify new content opportunities, and support business growth
Requirements
Essential:
*Strong understanding of fixed income markets
*Knowledge of different types of bonds and interest-bearing instruments
*Excellent organisational and coordination skills
*Ability to manage workflows across multiple countries and time zones
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred:
*Familiarity with sovereign debt issuance processes and auction mechanisms
*Experience working with financial data products or economic research
*Previous team management or leadership experience
Personal Attributes
*Resourceful and proactive
*Highly diligent with strong attention to detail
*Reliable and able to work independently in a remote environment

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, UK, US, as well as key European institutions including the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), European Stability Mechanism (ESM), and the European Union.
Working Arrangement
