Job Description:
Role:Wireperson/Wireman (Substation)
Location:Common Road, Newham, London E16 4ET
Rate:£34.00 per hour (Weekdays) PAYE ONLY | £51.00 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
Hours:07:30 AM - 18:00 PM (30 min break)
Duration: Up to a month
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in power and distribution projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Wireperson/Wireman to join them on a busy substation site in Newham.
As a Wireperson/Wireman, your duties will include:
*Installing and terminating electrical wiring and cabling within a substation environment
*Supporting electrical commissioning activities
*Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
*Ensuring all work is carried out to high safety standards
The successful Wireperson/Wireman must have:
*CSCS/ECS card
*Manual Handling
*Emergency First Aid at Work
*EUSR Utility SHEA Power
*Slinger Signaller
*COSHH Awareness
*Fire Safety Awareness
*NG Person (Substation)
