Private Client Tax Senior
Location: Birmingham | Hybrid
Job Type: Full Time
The role
A leading professional services firm with a strong national presence is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Senior to join its Birmingham team. This is a varied role within a well-established tax function, offering exposure to a broad and interesting client base alongside strong opportunities for progression.
You’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio while supporting the wider team with both compliance and advisory work, within a supportive and well-structured environment.
Key responsibilities
*Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio
*Managing day-to-day relationships with private clients
*Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and ongoing support
*Supervising and supporting junior team members
*Identifying potential advisory opportunities within your client base
*Maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio
*Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with deadlines
About you
*ATT / CTA or ACA / CTA qualified or part-qualified
*Strong background in personal tax within practice
*Experience managing or working with a client portfolio
*Exposure to a range of private client work including HNWIs, directors, and property clients desirable
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Proactive approach with an interest in advisory work
*Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing deadlines
