Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming primary school in Derby City Centre to appoint a confident and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in shaping children’s first experiences of education.
This role suits both experienced EYFS teachers and ECTs who are passionate about early development and learning through play.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with the curriculum
*Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
*Adapt learning activities to meet a range of developmental needs
*Track and assess pupil progress, sharing updates with staff and parents
*Support early phonics and communication development
*Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staff
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (EYTS)
*Experience within EYFS
*Strong understanding of early years development and phonics
*Positive behaviour management and communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
