Sales Team Leader
Permanent
Monday - Friday 38.5 hours between 8.30am - 7pm / 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm
Stoke on Trent
£26,000 - £28,000 + uncapped commission

As a Sales Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of sales advisors, ensuring both individual and team targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the team, supporting performance, coaching individuals, and working closely with senior management to ensure operational success.

Key responsibilities include:

*Leading and motivating a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
*Monitoring performance and delivering regular coaching and feedback
*Supporting compliance, quality and regulatory standards (FCA / TCF)
*Conducting 1:1s, monthly reviews and ongoing development plans
*Assisting with rota planning, workflow and call management
*Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
*Acting as a role model for professionalism and customer service

Desired skills and experience

*Previous experience within insurance (essential)
*Experience in a leadership, supervisory or senior sales role
*Strong understanding of compliance, FCA guidelines and TCF
*A proven track record of managing performance and achieving results
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate
*A proactive, organised and professional approach
