Design & Technology Teacher (Permanent)
Cambridgeshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
REED Education is pleased to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated ’Outstanding’ secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026.

The Role:
*Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
*Teach one or more DT specialisms (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics or Food Technology), depending on experience
*Inspire creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills in students of varying abilities
*Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support progress and attainment
*Contribute to a well-resourced and forward-thinking DT department
*Play an active role in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
*Ideally QTS (or working towards it), though strong unqualified teachers will be considered
*Passionate about Design & Technology and practical learning
*Confident classroom and workshop management skills
*Committed to high standards, safety, and student outcomes
*ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
