Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager
Swindon | Hybrid 3 days in/ 2 days remote | Interim Contract | 4-5 months
We’re recruiting an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to step into a high-impact interim role within a large, UK-based listed group.
This is a hands-on assignment for a technically strong accountant who can own Group reporting, consolidation and audit delivery from day one.
What You’ll Do
*Take full ownership of Group consolidated financial statements and disclosures (Annual & Half-Year)
*Act as the lead contact for external auditors, managing the audit process end-to-end
*Run the Group consolidation process and manage Oracle HFM
*Prepare monthly and annual consolidated accounts
*Produce clear, robust Audit Committee papers
*Oversee subsidiary statutory accounts
*Build and maintain models for key judgement areas (impairment, share-based payments, EPS, dilapidations)
*Own and maintain Group accounting policies and controls
*Act as the go-to technical accounting expert across the business
What We’re Looking For
*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Proven PLC / Group financial reporting experience
*Strong IFRS and technical accounting capability
*Hands-on experience with consolidation systems (Oracle HFM preferred)
*Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and auditors
*Able to hit the ground running and deliver to tight deadlines
The Deal
*Interim contract (day rate)
*Hybrid working
*Immediate, visible impact in a complex Group environment
Ideal for: seasoned Group Reporting interims or senior technical accountants looking for a meaty, well-defined assignment.
Interview will take place next week with a view to starting after the bank holiday around Tuesday 5th May.
