My client, a well-respected charity based on the outskirts of Maidstone, are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join them on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. This is a key, hands-on role within the small Finance team.

Description
· Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and maintain strong financial controls
· Manage budgets and forecasts, supporting managers through planning cycles
· Oversee VAT and Gift Aid reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance
· Support year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
· Review payroll, approve payments, and manage core finance systems
· Act as a key finance contact for departmental managers and stakeholders

Profile
My client is looking for someone with the following experience:
*Qualified / Qualified by Experience
*Experience of leading and managing a small finance team
*Hands-on experience at Finance Manager level including the production of the management accounts, statutory accounts and audit liaison.
*The ability to commit to the full contract
Previous experience of working for a charity is helpful but not essential.


This role is based on-site 5 days per week - please only apply if you are able to commit to the commute near Maidstone.
