I am currently recruiting for a boutique wealth planning firm based in Hertford who I have placed staff into. My client provides a full suite of advice covering Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts and some Protections to clients HNW retirees, families and City professionals across the UK. My clients funds/assets under management have doubled in the last 12 months due to organic growth - now at c.£180m AUM.
My client are seeking a Paraplanner/Trainee Adviser on an employed basis, to take on a role to work closely with a Senior Adviser who is looking to step back and retire in the near future. You will begin the role as a paraplanner but you will attend client meeting with the Adviser and meet all the clients with the view that you will be their new adviser in the future when you’re signed off and ready. The adviser manages c.60 clients/households who are resident across Hertfordshire primarily advising on retirement planning, pensions, investments, tax planning and a few esoteric schemes. You will ideally be looking to work towards your chartered status, but this is not essential. You must be ambitious, driven, and can see yourself being part of a growing boutique business. The Director will look to offer between £40k - £55k with profit share and a benefits package.
