About the RoleI’m currently recruiting on behalf of a **well-established and forward-thinking company **for a Nightshift Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be a key part of the maintenance team, helping keep production running through a mix of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance.
This opportunity would suit someone who:
*Prefers working nights
*Wants job security and stability
*Takes pride in proper fault finding and long-term fixes

What You’ll Be Doing*Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across plant and machinery
*Work in a proactive, preventative maintenance environment
*Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
*Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce repeat breakdowns
*Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
*Liaise with contractors and ensure RAMS compliance
*Update and maintain records on the CMMS system
*Complete remedial work following PPM activities

About You*Electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer
*Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent apprenticeship)
*Mechanical experience beneficial
*Background in heavy engineering / manufacturing / industrial environments
*Strong experience in reactive and planned maintenance
*Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
*Experience with or exposure to PLC systems
*Comfortable working independently on a nightshift pattern
