Job Description:
An established technology business is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a development team delivering mission-critical applications across a global platform.
The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership position combining team management, technical oversight, and delivery ownership.
You will guide engineers through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality, structure, and performance.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Software Engineers
*Oversee delivery to agreed timelines and quality standards
*Support Agile processes (planning, reviews, retrospectives)
*Contribute to technical design and architecture
*Maintain code quality, standards, and best practice
*Support releases, deployments, and continuous improvement
Requirements*Strong software development background (4+ years)
*Degree Educated, 2:1 or above
*Experience leading or mentoring engineers
*Experience with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
*Solid understanding of software architecture and best practice
*Experience with databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
*Familiarity with CI/CD and version control
Additional Information*Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
*Full-time, permanent role
