What You’ll Do
No two days are ever the same. As a Children’s Support Worker, you will:
* Deliver trauma-informed care to ensure young people feel safe and supported
* Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships
* Encourage healthy routines and develop essential life skills
* Support education, prepare meals, and attend appointments
* Advocate for young people, ensuring their voices are heard and valued
* Transport young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle
* Help them move forward with confidence, stability, and hope


What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (agency role)
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided.
