Head of Property Management (Block Management)
Location: Manchester
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Property Management to join a well-established, independent block management company. This role has become available due to the long-standing Head of Department stepping down after many years of service, presenting a fantastic opportunity to take over a stable, well-run portfolio and play a key role in the future growth of the business.
The Role
As Head of Property Management, you will:
*Oversee a team of 5 (4 Property Managers and 1 Assistant Property Manager)
*Manage your own portfolio
*Including 3 large residential estates (circa 600 units)
*Some High-Rise Buildings (HRBs), with no cladding concerns
*Ensure smooth day-to-day management of a largely stable portfolio
*Provide leadership, support, and development to your team
*Work closely with internal departments including Accounts, Legal, and Maintenance
*Contribute to improving processes, efficiencies, and overall service delivery
*Play a key role in the strategic growth and development of the business

What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in block/property management at a senior level
*Previous experience managing and developing a team
*Strong knowledge of residential block management legislation and compliance
*Ability to manage a large and varied portfolio
*A proactive mindset with a desire to improve and grow a business
*Ideally based within a reasonable commuting distance to the office
